Office suite that runs in the cloud and offers you the possibility to open and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents, but also PDF files
Polaris Office aims to improve your productivity by delivering office suite editing tools connected to a cloud storage platform, so you can continue working on your documents right away, regardless of what device you are using.
To access the service, you need to register for an account free of charge and opt for one of the available subscription plans. Note that you also get to edit documents stored locally, and it is up to you if you want to upload them to the cloud or share them with others.
Manage your documents and upload the files to the Polaris Office cloud for easy sharing
Polaris Office comes with a built-in documents manager where you can identify the files stored in the cloud or the ones that are shared with other users.
The Polaris Office utility allows you to work on local documents but, to take advantage of the sync and sharing functions, you need to upload them to the cloud.
Note that you can start new Word, Sheet, or Slide projects, and even rely on the built-in templates to reduce the editing time. At the same time, Polaris Office will open a separate window for each new document, so the app’s main window is reserved solely for document management tasks.
This is necessary because Polaris Office adjusts the editor design depending on the file type. Since the editor’s appearance resemble the Microsoft Office solutions, finding your way around is quite intuitive.
Edit Microsoft Office documents, annotate PDF files, or employ the built-in conversion tools
Polaris Office is able to work with most file formats produced by Microsoft Office editors: DOC/DOCX, PPT/PPTX, or XLS/XLSX. At the same time, Polaris Office can also open PDF documents and allow you to make annotations, or convert Office files to PDFs.
Note that some of the Polaris Office capabilities depend on your subscription plan, so you might not be able to use them until you upgrade.
Comprehensive office suite that can deal with Microsoft documents and streamline the sharing process
Bottom line, Polaris Office can help you edit Microsoft Office documents and open and annotate PDF files, while also providing quick access to a cloud storage solution.
Once you upload the files to the Polaris Office cloud, you will be able to access and edit them on any device connected to your account. Moreover, you can choose to share the documents with other users, or merely copy the direct link to the file so you can send it to anyone you like.
