FX Equation is a program designed to simplify the process of creating complex mathematical equations on the computer. It can be easily used, even by less experienced individuals.

The app is packed in a user-friendly interface with an intuitive layout. FX Equation allows you to use degree signs, lowercase and uppercase Greek letters, symbols, equation numbers, calculus, statistics, roots, formatting, matrices, vectors and piecewise defined functions.

So, all you have to do is write the mathematical expressions in the upper box and the results will be displayed right below. You can even use programming code to mark signs, such as ‘sqrt’ for square root.

Additionally, you can emphasize the font (bold, italic, underline), copy text as Metafile or Bitmap, reset the equation and disable the toolbar or status bar.

Configuring program settings is possible when it comes to the fonts (e.g. units, quoted text), vectors (e.g. double capitals, arrow style), styles (e.g. spacing, multiplication, integrals), units, matrices and shortcuts.

The simple-to-use program supports two languages for the interface, has a good response time and includes user documentation. We have not come across any issues in our tests; FX Equation did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. The interface is outdated, though. Otherwise, first-time users can easily figure out how to work with this app, thanks to the intuitive layout.

FX Equation helps you convert regular entered text to complex mathematical equations or other specific notations.

It is for people who love the output from the modern equation editors but hate using them. FX Equation automatically formats, with a minimum of input from you, just about all of the equations an average mathematics teacher uses everyday.

FX Equation is simply the fastest way to produce mathematical and scientific equations. It provides an equation creation environment that really is “Astoundingly Quick”.

FX Equation adds automatic vertical alignment of equals signs and a high speed toolbar entry system that can speed up entry of more complicated equations. FX Equation also adds short division signs, “fill in the blank” boxes, combinations, permutations, arcs, highlighted lines and an on-screen keyboard for use with interactive whiteboards. The full list of FX Equation features is listed below.

To use FX Equation, you just type the equation. FX Equation looks at what you have typed and puts everything in the right place. You never have to touch the mouse.
